An old friend had a Goodbye Party yesterday afternoon which I and my wife attended. I had reservations that it could be an incredibly sad and difficult time. It was not. She had family and friends present and everybody was happy to see everybody else. Her health took a major turn for the worse a couple of years ago and she spends her days either bed ridden or in an expensive wheelchair that can be operated with one hand. We were thrilled to see her and see how strong and sharp she remains psychologically and intellectually. Her body has failed her not her brain or her personality.
reminds me of the Elmira Coverup, where the body and the minds have completely failed and are corrupt and kept alive by bullshit!!! and the damn professionals who will never say "goodbye" get their overpaid wages no matter what the outcome is!
